I believe
Design should solve problems.
Did you ever build a time-consuming, expensive site or social media account only to have it just sit there online? Websites and media content are only as valuable as the good things they bring to you. Everything I make is calibrated to work for you & your business by enabling results.
Functional trumps “just pretty.”
It feels great when your materials look appealing. But the most important thing is that they look appealing to the people you need to reach. Using research-based psychological principles, we’ll calibrate your brand materials for the purposes they serve. No shiny Photoshop job is worthwhile if it doesn’t deliver.
Good work deserves great presentation.
As a music student I used to hate the idea of marketing. Eventually, I realized that building a brand isn’t about sales, profit, or money-grabbing. It’s about making yourself easily accessible to those who need you most. Great design doesn’t just build fortunes, it also enables organizations that improve the world.
I am
a designer and brand strategist grounded in the performing arts. My specialty is helping musicians, artists, creative businesses, and non-profits reach their goals through effective and expressive design.
After 14 years’ training as a classical musician, degrees in music and nonprofit management, and 4+ years in for-profit marketing, I understand your drive and your passion, and I know how to help you reach new audiences.
I owe a debt of gratitude to a number of musical mentors, whose influence contributes much of the resilience, persistence, creativity, and critical thinking I use every day in my work.

With Mr. John Bruce Yeh and some of his other students during my masters' degree

With Dr. Peter Burkholder, to whom I owe my writing process and critical musical thinking, at IU graduation.

My non-related family, who will always feel like family. Mr. James Campbell and his studio, Indiana University 2012.

Working with maestro Lorin Maazel at his Castleton Festival, 2012

With Mr. Dudamel while volunteering with NEOJIBA (state youth orchestra) in Brazil in 2011.
